Rebecca was a respected and dedicated fire captain who devoted her career to serving her community. In her statement, Lorena speaks about her daughter’s life, the devastating loss her family has endured, and the lasting impact of Rebecca’s death.

Yolanda Marodi pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in Rebecca’s killing and was sentenced to 36 years to life in state prison.
