Deputy District Attorney Chris Lindberg explains how the evidence led to the conviction of Randall Oyler for the 1990 murder of Margaret Orozco Jackson. Thanks to DNA evidence and the relentless work of investigators and prosecutors, this cold case was solved decades later.

The Court sentenced Oyler to 25 years to life in state prison.

Nitrous Oxide is not harmless—it’s fueling a growi Nitrous Oxide is not harmless—it’s fueling a growing public health and safety crisis. 

Today, District Attorney @summerstephan  joined  Senator Catherine Blakespear @senatorblakespear Blakespear  and community partners, like @sdsheriff Kelly Martinez, to support SB 936, legislation that would prohibit the sale of large nitrous oxide canisters for recreational use while preserving access for legitimate medical and dental purposes. 

Together, we're working to protect our communities and prevent misuse before more lives are put at risk.
